Disk C:\ can you only from Smartphone for example with X-plore see.

To copy a file to 'c:\sys\bin' you should:
    1) Connect smartphone with the PC.
    2) Copy the file from PC to any directory [1] of smartphone (Memory Stick, etc).
    3) Disconnect the smartphone from PC.
    4) Run x-plore on the Smartphone
    5) Set the parameters of X-plores as on the image (see below)
    6) Turn off capability with CapsSwitch (OFF)
    7) Copy with x-plore the file from [1] to 'c:\sys\bin'.
Settings of X-plore:

Note: You can't write to disk Z:\! Z:\ is ROM (Read Only Memory)!

Opera Mini 4.1 insists that I still need to change permissions for saving webpages and pictures on websites to the phone.

I've switched capsswitch to display 'Off' and I've used the midlet permissions hack but it still says there are problems.

Midlet permissions doesn't save the "Ask Once" option for internet access so everytime since installing it, Opera Mini now asks permission but it didn't used to (it only had permission issues saving/writing to disk)

I think I might be doing things in the wrong order ie. turn on phone, run CapSwitch, change midlet permissions to ask once, and then I can save (after the error message pops up). If I try to do it another way, it frequently denies access altogether.

Could you please advise if there is a midlet-hack or permanent solution to this problem?

Thanks, love the work you've done!

@dumbstruck
Download Opera Mini with integrated in your smartphone Opera Mobile and you get: 1) signed version of Opera Mini! (With signed version you don't need to use of MIDlet permission mod. When you download with PC you get unsigned version.) 2) newer version of Opera Mini (4.2).

Midlet permissions doesn't save the "Ask Once" option for internet access so everytime since installing it, Opera Mini now asks permission but it didn't used to (it only had permission issues saving/writing to disk)
This is bug of Symbian. Some permissions is not compatible one with the other. For example "read and write user data" isn't compatible with "internet access". Change only those permissions which you are really need.
